About

First Reformed Church enjoys a blended service with both contemporary and traditional music. At various times members and/or guests share their musical talents to enrich our service.

The Reformed Church in America (RCA) was established on this continent 150 years before the Revolutionary War.

The word Reformed comes from the Protestant Reformation which swept across Europe in the 1500s under the leadership of such men as Martin Luther and John Calvin. Calvin’s reforming the church at Geneva spread to many countries, including Scotland (where it became the Presbyterian Church) and the Netherlands (where it became the Reformed Church).

We believe the Bible to be the Word of God and the final authority for faith and practice. We believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of those who have faith in Him.

We are a congregation with a strong commitment to one another and to God, a loving spirit, and we strive for a forward-looking vision to bless those in the community around us. We invite you to come and worship and share the love of Jesus Christ with us.
